Thomas completed his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) in Hsinchu in 2022. He then pursued a master’s degree at the Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) division of NTU’s Civil Engineering department, graduating in January 2025, under the guidance of Professor Lisa Hsieh. His research centers on the e-scooter battery-swapping ecosystem, exploring both the economic and environmental impacts, as well as the vehicle-to-grid (V2G) applications of battery swap stations. Now, he is a PhD student in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, investigating the economic feasibility of producing SAF (sustainable aviation fuel).
